MTS is not
just a program, but rather a strategy- a strategy which hangs together
on a series of elements. You can read a little about those elements
below and see the repeating progression through them.
MTS Challengeencourages people to consider making
a "career diversion" by challenging them to think about
full-time Christian ministry. It seeks to identify those who have
the gifts of evangelism, teaching and leadership who should be
trained for gospel ministry.
The
MTS Apprenticeship is a 2 year Bible based, training
program which provides apprentices with opportunity for further
growth in the Word of God and teaching others. Each apprentice
works with a trainer to help develop ministry skills, to identify
areas of strength and weakness, and to consider their long-term
suitability for full-time Christian ministry.
Theological training is a crucial part
of preparation for ministry. MTS graduates head into theological education
before working in full-time ministry.
MTS Training Events
provide encouragement,
vision, training, resources and fellowship for those in Christian
ministry so that they are better equipped, to train others- which
takes us back up to Challenge
