Purpose

Challenge has been established to challenge men and women to give up their lives for Christ and the preaching of the gospel. God is raising up a new generation of servants of the Word. Many of these are making a "career diversion" and training for full-time Christian ministry in Australia and overseas.

Who should be involved in Challenge

If you are asking these kinds of questions, then Challenge is for you.

  • What will I do for the rest of my life?
  • Am I willing to give up my life for the preaching of the gospel?
  • What gifts do I have for Christian ministry?
  • Should I consider training for full-time ministry?
  • What ministry opportunities are available?
  • Who can help me make these decisions?
Challenge Conferences

Annual Conferences are conducted to challenge people to consider the option of full-time Christian ministry. Challenge Conferences are run in Sydney, Hobart, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, Perth & Armidale. To read more about this year's Challenge Conferences click here. We encourage people to be a part of Challenge for 3-4 years to receive encouragement and guidance as they make decisions about their lifeís work.

Personal Coaching

The conferences are only the beginning. Challenge endeavours to link experienced ministers as Coaches with those thinking through ministry decisions, in order to pray, give ongoing advice and provide ministry training.

Challenge Networks

Challenge is organised in a variety of networks: geographical, denominational or ethnic. This is to facilitate the personal advising and coaching throughout the year.

Challenge Coaches Conference

Coaches Conference is conducted in parallel with each of the Challenge Conferences. The Coaches Conference aims to:

  • Share the vision of reaching our world with the gospel of Christ.
  • Provide ongoing input and training for those in ministry, on a range of topics and issues.
  • Equip ministers in the vision and skills of Coaching.
