    About me

I grew up in the country town of Dubbo. So you could say I am a country girl at heart. It was here where I learnt Jesus was my Saviour, trusted in him and grew in my faith. After a gap year in Dubbo I moved to Newcastle to study a Bachelor of Social Science at the university. Uni was a great time of growth for me in my Christian faith. I understood more about how my identity is a child of God, God is in control and I can truly trust him. At the start of 2015 I moved to Sydney (the big smoke) to start an apprenticeship with the Crusaders. Over two years I loved sharing the good news of Jesus with kids and youth. It was a joy helping them to see who Jesus is, answer their questions, see their knowledge of God grow and see students so passionate about being a servant hearted disciple of Jesus.I have now completed one year of MTS.

    About my Apprenticeship

I am delighted to be doing MTS at St Paul's in 2017-2018. It is crazy to think I have already completed a year of MTS. In 2017, I led the Yr 10 girls at youth, co-led a Night church bible study group, taught Scripture for the first time, meet 1-1 with a young lady, was involved with Night Church and the North Rocks congregations. In 2018 I am doing some similar ministries and some different ministries. I will be involved more in North Rocks congregation, this means co-leading a Women's Growth Group and co-ordinating playgroup. I will be meeting up to read the Bible with more women than last year. And teaching Scripture at a different school. In addition I will be continuing to co-led a Night Church Growth Group and be involved at Night Church.

    Prayer Points

Thank God for 2017 and the opportunities I had to serve God at St Paul's and how I have grown in character and skills. Please be praying:- That God would be helping me transition into the new responsibilities I have this year and will adjust to change well.- My prayer life would grow, as I seek to serve Jesus this year. - God will provide opportunities to share the gospel with people.- I would be a godly example to those I disciple and learn how to disciple well for God's glory. - I will follow Christ's example of servant hearted leadership. - God would provide wisdom as to whether he wants me to pursue full-time paid ministry for a life time.
