    About me

Working for God and sharing the saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ fills me with excitement, it is why I have now committed my life to sharing the good news of the salvation found in Jesus. Just as the amazing grace of Jesus saved a wretch like me, I now share the same great news with others and wish to continue this until the Lord calls me home. Philippians 1:21-22"For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. If I am to go on living in the body, this will mean fruitful labour for me…"Please click on the following link, or copy and paste it into your browser, to read a front page story written by Anne Lim in Eternity Newspaper, July 2017, which will give a better understanding as to how I got to where I am today.

    About my Apprenticeship

I'm doing my apprenticeship through Park Road Anglican, Due to my passion and love for Ministry, I'm involved in several Ministries: • Cross Cultural - (ESL - English Classes), I assist in teaching Friday's 10am-12pm class and in May 2017 I started another Monday night class. We have seen many people through our ESL Classes attend our Sunday Church Services and given their life to Christ. As I say: "These classes are an Evangelical Goldmine in bringing people to Christ". •Through our English classes, I also arrange to meet people and do one on one Bible Reading on a weekly basis, this has become a very valuable part of my Ministry work. .I also use skills from previous work to assist others, such as with Court attendances, writing letters, going to meetings, assisting with exam prepration. •Factory Chaplaincy - for the past 2 years, every Tuesday I visit factories in the Industrial precinct of Carlton, where I provide emotional and physical assistance to male and female workers. This work varies, from one day counselling and praying with people over issues from finance, injuries, depression, suicide, and then on another day, I may assist injured workers cleaning their factory or lifting 40 gallon drums, but this all takes place while sharing the Gospel.•SRE - for the past 9 years I have been teaching SRE at St George Girls High School, during this time I have seen many young girls give their lives to Christ, and I have also had the privilege in attending several Baptisms, I also take SRE classes on Tuedsays at Carlton South Public School. •KAIROS Prison Ministry - Having been a previous Chairman of Kairos inside Ministry, I now assist Kairos with visiting inmates, and next year will assist in running an outside KAIROS Course. •I also am attending Sydney Missionary and Bible College (SMBC) part-time, prior to that I was attending Moore Theological College, where I have been completing a Bachelor of Theology. Future Plans•Commencing another English class that will focus on the sermon to be preached prior to our 5pm Church service. • Walk up Ministry - Leading a team of people to do walk up Ministry in our local area, but also more specific in targeting the Chinese Community in Hurstville. •Running Christianity Explored Easy English, with a focus on those who attend our ESL Classes

    Prayer Points

    • Please pray for my strength, endurance and my reliance on God to get me through my weekly tasks, as I often feel my time is limited. • Please pray that I will continue to grow in Christ, and be guided by him in all aspects of my life, that I may be a reflection of him in all I do. • Please pray for our English Classes that they will continue to grow, and I will have the opportunity to share the Gospel and see more people give their lives to Jesus. • Please pray for my factory Ministry, that I will have more opportunities to share the Gospel.• Please pray for my SRE Classes, that I will continue to share the Gospel in a way that impacts on people's lives. • Please pray for my future in Ministry.
