    About me

As a child, I was brought up in a Catholic family and was because of that I always believed in God, but I didn't really know or understand the gospel. It wasn't until a teenager that I truly understood that I was a sinner, and that Jesus had died to save me. I have been married to Adam since 2012 and live at home with 2 dogs, a cat and A LOT of chickens. Adam and I have been attending Rosemeadow Anglican Church for the last couple of years, and now I feel privileged to do my apprenticeship there as well.

    About my Apprenticeship

A large part of my apprenticeship will be looking after a portfolio called Meet, Greet, Integrate. This will mean that I will be creating processes for people who walk into our church for the first time so that they can engage and build regular and lasting connections within our church community with the ultimate goal being to help people (specifically newcomers to our church) mature in Christ. I will also be running our playtime group which is for parents and their children aged 0-5 years. Our playtime group consists of a structured time where we do singing, dancing, play games and read the bible with the kids. We also do a bible study that has some creche attendants come in and do activities with the kids.

    Prayer Points

    1) pray that this apprenticeship with help me to grow in my relationship with God, and help me to apply the bible better in my own life.2) thank God for playtime and the relationships I have been able to build there. Pray that God will help me to be wise in my decision-making and that playtime will continue to be an encouragement to the parents in our congregation.
