    About me

As a child, I was brought up in a Catholic family and was because of that I always believed in God, but I didn't really know or understand the gospel. It wasn't until a teenager that I truly understood that I was a sinner, and that Jesus had died to save me. I have been married to Adam since 2012 and live at home with 2 dogs, a cat and A LOT of chickens. Adam and I have been attending Rosemeadow Anglican Church for the last couple of years, and now I feel privileged to do my apprenticeship there as well. I'll be working on two main ministries while I do MTS. I'll be running our playtime group for parents and children ages 0 - 5 and I'll be working a portfolio called Meet, Greet, Integrate which is how, under God, we can help newcomers connect in to church and become regular members of our congregations.

    About my Apprenticeship

    Playtime has been going well this term so far! We've had a couple of women join our bible study from church which has been really encouraging. We are currently doing a topical study series on Heaven - but are soon going to be doing Just Start Talking which is a series of bible studies on talking to people about Jesus. We are not doing an invite-a-friend week this term so we can better prepare for our one next term where hopefully after doing these studies we can get a few people that are willing to share their testimony.- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - VBC is going pretty well so far this term. I have to give my first sermon in class this Wednesday (29/5) and will be giving the same sermon at a Women's group the Tuesday after (4/6). Still feeling pretty nervous about this - but am now slightly more prepared. Thankful that God has given me the opportunity to preach his word and the opportunity to do things that I wouldn't normally do. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Membership is ticking along pretty well so far. We have a plan for what we are going to do and are hoping to implement some parts of it by Term 3. We are just doing some final minor adjustments and then starting to talk about who might be suited and available to join this ministry. I'm pretty excited to be at this point!

    Prayer Points

    1) Thank God for playtime and the women who have joined from church last term. Pray for our upcoming bible series that we will be able to learn well how to speak to others about Jesus, and that we might be bold and courageous when speaking to people who don't know Jesus. - - - - - - - - - - 2) Thank God for the opportunity I've had to do things I wouldn't normally do. Pray that God will speak through me when I do these sermons and that I will stay focused on Him. - - - - - - - - - - - 3) Thank God for how well membership is going at the moment! Pray that the right people are chosen for this ministry, and that God helps us to be wise in who we approach and that we continue to care more about people than programs. - - - - - - - - - -
